SAP System Applied Successfully by Advanced Poly-Propylene Co.

The Advanced Poly-Propylene Co. has recently launched the SAP electronic system to organize the enterprise’s departments into one system automatically controlling the company’s departments including finance, control, cost & profit, treasury and sales & distribution as well as a number of relevant administrative departments with no need for papers and other stereotypical systems. A celebration was held by the company for this occasion in the attendance of a number of officials from the Advanced Poly-Propylene Co. and NAIZAK. Eng’g. Ali Abdel Razek Al-Shuair, Company’s CEO, voiced his pleasure with the successful application of the SAP program and paid tribute to all those who had taken part in the implementation of such big job within a standard time. Moreover, Mr. Al-Shuair affirmed his company was seeking to obtain the best technologies in every domain particularly the information technology with its applications as a result of the information revolution in the growing business sector, urging a real need for reaching the highest levels of information development. The SAP system is considered the way to real development for our information and realization of our strategic goals, he stressed.
On his part, Khalid Al-Abdulkarim, president of Naizak Global Engineering Systems, expressed himself as pleased also with the SAP successful application and said the Saudi IT market uses state-of-the-art technologies in the Arabian Gulf region especially IT industrial systems applications, so there is an increase in the demand on software, equipment and services provided by private sector which is the fastest growing in the IT area. The cooperation between giant companies is one of the most efficient steps for boosting economical development, confirmed Mr. Khalid.

Ali Abdel Razek Al-Shuair, Company’s CEO, said the company’s staff had managed to put the SAP program into practice within a standard period and his company was seeking to obtain the best technologies in every domain particularly the information technology as a result of the information revolution in the growing business sector, urging a real need for reaching the highest levels of information development. The SAP system is considered the way to real development for our information and realization of our strategic goals especially after the company has embarked on the probational operation of its integrated industrial complex with a total cost exceeding three billion Riyals for production of the Poly-Propylene material, Al-Shuair affirmed.

It is worth mentioning that the Advanced Poly-Propylene Co. which was established in October 2005 has embarked on the probational operation of its integrated industrial complex with a total cost exceeding three billion Riyals for production of the Poly-Propylene material which was first put to local, regional and international markets last week to announce the company’s first production from Jubail Industrial city.

Belsim Achievement
Following a through evaluation of different DVR by vendors, by P&CSD Aramco, Belsim’s Vali was tipped for the pilot implementation of their process performance application (Vali performance) and production accounting (Vali production) on the CDU of Aramco Refinery and Shudgum liquid recovery unit (LRU). The performance application was deployed on the CDU while the production accounting application was implemented on the entire site. Following a successive implementation of these applications and the benefit derived there form, Aramco indicates their interest for a complete roll out on all their facilities stating 1st quarter of 2009 and completely in the order 4th quarter of 2010.

PlantTriage achievement at Ar-Razi
Following successful completion of Pilot Project and achieving desired results, Ar-Razi as awarded Naizak the site-wide implementation which involves 5 Methanol Plant, Utilities & Air Separation Unit.

Wonderware projects.
Revamping of visual display unit and remote experimental set up of PDC reactor in POC lab of Sabic R&T was judiciously carried out by Naizak Automation utilizing the ground breaking technology of Wonderware InTouch 9.5 in 2006 and 2007.
Naizak Automation undertook turnkey project in which installation, configuration and commissioning of HMI for 16 laboratory scale reactor was carried out in Aramco R&D utility Wonderware’s awards winning InTouch.
Two VDUs at PP-1 of Sabic Ibn Zahr were successfully upgraded on a lump sum turnkey basis with Wonderware state of the art HMI software. A total of 6000 tags were configure, tested and commissioned.
